Port Waikato School Camp has long been a primary destination for outdoor education in the North Island.  School camps here are always enjoyable and successful, with generations of families having attended our camp.  Word of mouth from adults and students who have stayed with us is only making it more popular!

Located at the mouth of New Zealand’s longest river, the mighty Waikato, this camp has been run since 1989 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers.  These volunteers have put a lot of time and effort into the development of the camp and hope that an enjoyable time is had by all.

We provide bunkroom style accomodation for groups of up to 140 in total.  We offer not just a place to sleep, but also a number of diverse activites to keep you entertained during your stay.

Thank you for looking at our website.  We hope you choose to stay with us and enjoy what we have to offer.

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to a fellow-creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
